Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikoogi (JPPP) is an open access journal in psychology published by The Faculty of Psychology Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). JPPP is a bi-annual peer reviewed journal that publishes original and meaningful contributions to the field of psychology in Indonesia. The journal aims for experimental, theoretical, measurement development and theoretical review articles in all areas of psychology. In particular, we expected to received article with advances statistical analysis in measurement, psychometric, and modelling study in psychology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influencer of fathers involvement on rational decision making. This study is a quantitative research with sample of early adult women amount 101 respondents. The method of data collection is using Rational Decision Making, Nurturant Fathering Scale, and Reported Father Involvement Scale questionnaires that has been constructed by the relevant theory. Hypothesis testing in this study is using regression analysis. Regression analysis shows that the value of F count = 4,894 > F tabel = 3,94. Additionally significant value show that p = 0,029 < α = 0,05. The regression equation generated in this study is positive, which means that higher fathers involvement then makes rational decision making higher too. Besides, this reseaech R square of 0,047, which explains the influence of fathers involvement against rational decision making amount 47%. Based on the calculation of data shows that there is a significant influence of fathers involvement against rational decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Social Support and Self Disclosure of Paket B students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka. This study was conducted using quantitative research, with ex-postfacto research method. Social Support instrument using adaptation from Social Support Scale by Rangga Amarullah and Self Disclosure instrument adaptation of The Jourard Sixty-Item Self Disclosure Questionnaire by Jourard and Lasakow. Procedure sampling technique use saturation sampling. Participants in this research were 38 people who are adolesence of Paket B Students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka. Based on the analysis of data, obtained by regression Social Support on Self Disclosure amounted to 13,6% with significance level of 0.023 (p < 0.05). The results showed that there are significant Social Support to Self Disclosure Paket B students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka, shown by the regression equation Y = 0,637 + 0,294X which means higher Social Support, higher Self Disclosure, and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job demands on burnout in public special school teachers. There are 126 subjects who were choosen by using the purposive sampling technique. This study uses quantitative method. The data collection technique in this study uses instruments which has been adapted based on from Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and Job Demands-Resources Questionnaire. The hypothesis was tested using the linier regression analysis one predictor. The result shows the score of F count 27,704 > F table 3,94 with significant value 0,000 (p > 0,05). It means, there is significant effect of job demands on burnout in public special school teachers. The effect of job demands on burnout is 18,3 %.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of teacher efficacy on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. The variables studied were teacher efficacy as an independent variable (X) and teacher attitudes toward inclusive education as a dependent variable (Y). The method used is quantitative research, with cluster sampling technique. Participants of this study were teachers from inclusive public elementary school in Jakarta (N = 164). The instrument used to measure teacher efficacy is Teacher Efficacy for Inclusive Practice (TEIP), while Multidimensional Attitudestoward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) was used to measure teacher attitudes toward inclusive education.Processing methods of data analysis in hypothesis testing using regression analysis. Results of this study showed there is influence of teacher efficacy on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education (p <α; 0,002 < 0,05), with the contribution of influence 0,05 (5%). Therefore, in this study Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

This reasearch aims to find the effect of empathy toward teacher’s performance in School for disabled children. This reasearch used quantitative method. A Questionnaire of Cognitive and Affective Emphaty (QCAE) was adopted and used to measure the empathy, and teacher’s performance measured by using instrument that developed from teacher’s performance appraisal. Purposive sampling technique was used for the sampling technique. The participan of this reasearch is 81 teachers from school for disabled children in East Jakarta. The result if this reasearch showed that Fhit= 10,214 > Ft = 3,94 ; p = 0,002 < α = 0,05 which means there’s a significant effect of emphaty toward teacher’s performance in school of disabled children which is 11,4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of big five personality on organizational commitment toward the lecturers State University Of Jakarta. Personality trait is composed of five major trait that Opennes to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism (OCEAN). The fifth trait of the personality trait will be seen any where that has an influence on the organizational commitment of the lecturers in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research method using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used is insidental sampling. In the process of the data used comes from the true score of Rasch modeling. The measuring tool used for organizational commitment is the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire whichis constructed by Meyer and Allen with reliability value of items of 0.97 based on Rasch Modeling. For measuring personality trait is used The Big Five Inventory who constructed by John et al. With the reliability value items amounted to 0.99 based on Rasch modeling. In the data processing used multiple regression model. Based on the result, obtained the value of p = 0,000 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that thefive personality trait had an influence (13,1%) on organizational commitment, only trait Extraversions and Conscientiousness, while trait opennes to Experience, Agreeableness and Neuroticism did not have effect.

Abstract

Teacher performance is teacher perception on teacher work performance related to work quality, responsibility, honesty, cooperation and initiative. This study was conducted to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of good work on the performance of elementary school teachers in central Jakarta. This research uses quantitative approach. A sample of 79 certified teachers teaching elementary school in central Jakarta using multiphase sampling technique. How to use data by using questionnaire media for data retrieval. Respondents of this study are teachers of primary school certified in central Jakarta. The variable used is workplace well-being as independent variable, teacher performance as dependent variable. To determine the effect of workplace well-being, based on multiple regression analysis at 33.1% significant level it can be concluded whether the workplace well-being is significant enough to the performance of elementary school teachers.
